Title: Probing dark forces with Large Scale Structure

Abstract: Cosmology offers opportunities to test dark matter independently of its interactions with the Standard Model. I will discuss the imprints of new long-range forces, mediated by a scalar field interacting only with dark matter. These new forces modify both the background evolution and the growth of density perturbations. After extending the Effective Field Theory of Large Scale Structure to include the new dynamics, I will present the strongest constraints on such dark forces, obtained by combining the CMB with a full-shape analysis of the galaxy power spectrum measured by BOSS. Finally, I will argue that future galaxy surveys will improve the current bound by an order of magnitude.
