Jutta Schnabel: “Development of the KM3NeT Open Science System”

Europe/London
Description

Open Science is a movement with gathering momentum and increasing importance in the scientific community. However, interpreting the meaning of "Open Science" in a concrete research environment poses a challenge that is addressed in various ways by different collaborations. Having committed itself to an Open Science policy, the KM3NeT collaboration is establishing a system to facilitate data sharing, open software development and integration of analyses in common analysis platforms for the KM3NeT neutrino detectors, which are currently under construction at two locations in the Mediterranean Sea. In this talk, the current architecture, development initiatives and perspectives on future enhancements are presented.
